This Porsche 928 is powered by none other than a Boeing T50 Turboshaft helicopter engine.
Although many Porsche purists might take offense to that, you can’t deny it’s pretty epic.
It is quite common for a sports car to get its engine replaced, but this is the first time we have seen a Porsche with a Boeing engine.
The car originally had a V8, but that was replaced with the Boeing T50 Turboshaft engine.

Jet-powered Porsche 928 with a helicopter engine
Surprisingly, this jet-powered Porsche 928 is on sale right now if anyone wants to buy it.
However, this isn’t the first time this unusual supercar has surfaced online.
Previously, it was last seen in 2010 on eBay, going for $20,000.
The listing mentioned that the car gets 17 miles per gallon, working air-conditioning, and afterburners.
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that someone has tried to retrofit a jet-powered engine to a supercar.
We have also seen a twin jet engine-powered Ferrari Enzo dragster that took 17 years to build.
Strangest Porsche ever
According to the latest listing, it has 140,862 miles on the clock and comes with an automatic transmission.
Interestingly, the car doesn’t run on normal petrol but rather on jet fuel.
Let’s just hope it’s nothing like this jet car that burns 40 liters of fuel per minute.
Unfortunately, the jet-powered Porsche 928 is only capable of producing 300 horsepower at 5950 rpm.
Although the Boeing T50 Turboshaft helicopter engine makes peak power at 28,380 rpm, it would be far too high and loud to be used in a car.
You can also watch this jet-powered Porsche 928 in action on YouTube to hear how loud it is.
And if you are interested in buying it, then you can get it for $29,747.
