Some Kenyan locals were filmed hauling a mysterious vehicle from the ocean in a scene that looked more like a movie than real life.
The clip shows dozens of people surrounding the mystery SUV as waves crash around it, with some people even standing on the roof of it.
No one on the ground offered an explanation for how the vehicle ended up so far offshore, or even what kind of car it was.
The footage has now sparked a wave of speculation across social media.

A mysterious vehicle drives a Kenyan community crazy
When this video of a mysterious car being hauled from the sea in Kenya started going viral, it garnered one main reaction from the general public: confusion.
The video began with a group of locals standing waist-deep in the sea as an SUV sat stuck in the waves.
The mysterious vehicle appeared to have drifted or been driven far beyond the safe edge of the shoreline and had somehow gotten really far out into the water.

Some people climbed onto the roof while others pushed from the sides, trying to move the heavy 4×4 back towards shallow ground.
The vehicle itself has become a talking point because the front grille and headlight layout resemble a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series, though some commenters are convinced it looks more like a Mitsubishi Pajero.
Others joked that it might belong to Aquaman or even be SpongeBob’s lost car, and the mix of theories only fueled more confusion as viewers tried to make sense of the scene.
Context is key
This video has certainly won the No Context Award for What The Heck is Going On, and it doesn’t look like we’ll get many answers soon.
We don’t even know if the mystery SUV made it to shore, but it looked like there was a large team working on it.
While we don’t know how the car got out there or even really what kind of car it is, we do know that the internet will be scratching its head over this for a long time to come.
