Kia has entered a new era, revealing the brand new K4 Sportswagon that takes in-cabin entertainment to the next level.
After recently launching the Seltos, the K4 Sportswagon is set to be the next to hit the production line in Europe.
The new release allows drivers to use their phones as virtual keys and adapts to the advancing digital world, integrating AI into everyday use.
Aside from the sportier design, the K4 also has advanced safety features such as a blind-spot view monitor and smart cruise control to make the car more usable than ever before.

The K4 Sportswagon: Here’s what you need to know
Kia is known for its affordable, yet reliable releases, and the next model to hit the line-up may be the most luxurious yet.
The K4 Sportswagon has a unique design complete with horizontal lines, inverted L-shape LED lights to the rear of the car, and Star Map Signature Lightning.

The GT version also has high-gloss features and sportier bumpers, with added materials to accentuate the sporty nature of the car.
“The wagon body style allows the K4 to compete beyond the traditional C-segment.
“Its generous luggage capacity and advanced technology make it a compelling option for customers considering larger vehicles.” Kia Europe Vice President of Product and Marketing, Pablo Martínez Masip, said, echoing the company’s focus on usability.
Inside the Kia K4, technology levels up
Aside from the sporty and sleek exterior design, the interior cabin brings a whole new feel to a daily driver.
Drivers can even pass the time waiting in a parking lot by watching streaming services such as Netflix Youtube, and Disney+.

This is thanks to a flashy 12.3-inch touchscreen, which is also accompanied by a 5.3-inch climate display and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster too.
Plus, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and a premium audio system make the car feel like a literal movie theater.
Kia’s new offering supports your gas-to-EV transition
Now, all of that stuff is impressive, but what about the real vitals like the powertrain?
Well, Kia explained that the new K4 Sportswagon will be available not only in a gas version, but also in electrified powertrain versions, to support customers planning to transition into owning an EV.
The powertrains start with a 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine, assisted by a six-speed manual transmission, but things level up when mild-hybrid technology comes into play.

A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission comes complete with the mild-hybrid engine, for those opting to go down that route.
Additionally, the 1.6 -GDI petrol engine will also come with the same, with a full hybrid coming into play later in 2026.
With exciting GT releases being announced by Kia, all eyes are on the company as 2026 starts with a bang.
