Kia has released first-glimpse teaser images of the second-generation Seltos SUV, and it’s been given a striking redesign.
Kia released the original Seltos into the South Korean market in 2019, before introducing it to the US the following year.
Six years on, the carmaker is gearing up to unveil the second-generation Seltos later this month.
But to keep folks happy until then, Kia has shared some teaser shots that give a few clues to how the SUV will look.

What can we expect from the new Kia Seltos?
Although not giving away too much about the Seltos just yet, Kia has revealed that the second-generation model will be ‘fully redesigned’.
Kia said the Seltos’ new look was guided by the carmaker’s ‘opposites united’ design philosophy, which seems to translate to powerful proportions and beefed-up cladding.

The front of the new car features Star Map daytime running lights, while the back of the vehicle has matching horizontal and vertical lamp graphics.
The Steltos has also been fitted with some new flush door handles, which its creator says ‘enhance aerodynamic efficiency and add a layer of modern refinement’.
As well as the flash new handles, the car will be offered with a ‘broader range’ of exterior colors, and much like the original Seltos, the second-generation model will be available with several trim levels, including the X-Line and GT-Line.
Kia hasn’t revealed any specs about the car, but rumors have suggested it could be released with a hybrid powertrain.
There’s also no word on how much the new model will cost, but given that it’s a Kia, it’s likely it’ll be good value for money.
But for now, we’ll just have to wait and see, because the 2026 Seltos will be officially unveiled, alongside its specification details, on Kia’s YouTube channel on December 10.

It’s not the only new offering from Kia
If the second-generation Seltos isn’t quite big enough for you, then you might be pleased to know that Kia has recently debuted its new Telluride.
The updated and upgraded Telluride will be available as a hybrid for the first time, offering an impressive estimated 35mpg, and a little bit longer than the previous version, so there’s more room inside.
The three-row SUV also benefits from more torque and more tech, including dual 12.3-inch panoramic digital displays, dual wireless phone chargers, and the ability to stream Disney+, Netflix, and YouTube.
