French forward Kylian Mbappé is known for his unparalleled sporting ability, but it turns out that he’s also a not-so-secret car fan, after news broke of him adding a personalized BMW to his collection.
The soccer player was gifted a personalized BMW alongside other members of Real Madrid’s first team.
And, it seems that the sports star is a fan of all things EV with his new whip running on electricity rather than pure gas power, with both PHEV and EV versions available of the i7.
However, despite owning an impressive car fleet that’s full to the brim of luxury brands and models, he can’t actually sit behind the wheel of any of them.

Kylian Mbappé is a gearhead with a hidden secret
Mbappé is well-known for his soccer career, having had stints at world-famous soccer clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, but he also has a secret love of cars.
In fact, the car enthusiast recently added a flashy BMW i7 to his supercar fleet, but he has a secret: he can’t actually drive.
Kylian Mbappé was recently pictured with the BMW i7 EV, but luckily for the French native, the brand itself says that the car’s power can be enjoyed sitting elsewhere in the cabin, too.
“Its innovative, fully-electric drive system generates nothing but pure driving pleasure, whether you are behind the wheel or a passenger,” stated the brand.
Mbappé’s gifted BM7 included a personalised number plate with the car’s model name sat above his own.

However, it isn’t the only car that Kylian Mbappé has, despite not possessing the ability to legally drive one.
His flashy car collection features the likes of Mercedes, Range Rover, Audi, and Ferrari – but as he doesn’t have a license, he can’t actually get behind the wheel.
Still, at least his drive is full, right?
He wasn’t the only soccer player to be gifted a BMW EV
Thanks to the brand’s partnership with the soccer team, other members of Real Madrid’s first team were gifted cars for the third season in a row.
“This week, players from the first team received their new BMW vehicles for the 2024/25 season during a handover event held at the club’s Valdebebas training complex.

The collaboration, which began in July 2022, has become one of the most visible alliances in European sport,” BMW detailed.
Plus, to make the players’ lives just that little bit easier, the company also installed over 80 EV chargers at Real Madrid’s training complex, so while they are upping their fitness levels, the batteries of their cars can also work out too.
