An American man from LA was overjoyed to take delivery of two Japanese Domestic Market – JDM – legends from Toyota and Nissan until disaster struck.
YouTuber effspot recently posted a video on his channel showcasing the delivery of the two cars, including a Nissan R34 GT-R Skyline.
However, there was what the YouTuber called a disaster that took away from the excitement and happiness of the car’s delivery.
The video did show off how gorgeous the JDM legends are, and the YouTuber also discussed what makes them so special.

The R34 Skyline was the highlight of the video
The clear highlight of the video was the R34 GT-R.
This is a car that has always been one of the most popular from the JDM world.
The R34 is finished in a gorgeous Midnight Purple Three color.
It glinted amazingly in the sun and inside the warehouse.
A test drive of the car lets us hear the RB26 engine under the hood.
As expected, the Nissan sounds truly glorious.
As a tribute to the first Fast & Furious film, the car was taken to the iconic house from the movie and posed outside.
What makes this R34 extra special is that it is a V-Spec or Victory Spec.
V-Specs are even rarer than the standard cars and come with extra features, such as Nissan’s all-wheel drive system.
The second JDM legend was even more special
It’s the second JDM car that turns up that’s truly special.
Towards the end of the video, a 1980 Toyota Cresta with some serious modifications turned up after being away for some work.
Those changes included its wild paint job, but also its new bodywork additions, like the large rear wing.
A crazy wheel design and large wheel fenders are two more additions to the Cresta.
Giant, protruding exhausts are an upgrade still to come.
However, disaster strikes towards the end of the video as effspot finds out that the fuel pump on the Cresta is very leaky.

After firing the Toyota up, we see just how bad the leak is underneath the car.
The discovery of such a big leak massively frustrated the YouTuber.
That’s going to be an urgent fix, and not one effspot had expected.
Hopefully, a future video will reveal that his JDM legend is fully fixed and back up and running.
