This Lamborghini Countach is a keeper for one Michigan man – he daily drives it years after his father bought it brand new back in 1987.
While the car is nearing its 40th birthday, Anthony isn’t willing to part way with it.
It’s held up really well over the years, despite racking up 32,932 miles.
He spoke to YouTuber Magnacars about his experience with a Lamborghini Countach 5000 S.

Michigan man has kept the Lamborghini Countach for a long while
TJ Lamb, the host of Magnacars, has seen a lot of awesome cars through his YouTube channel.
Whether it’s an abandoned movie car collection, or a Fast and Furious collection in a Missouri warehouse, he’s seen a lot of fascinating vehicles.
He himself has good taste in cars – the 1971 Rolls-Royce he got as his first car is proof of that.

For this video, he was interviewing a man called Anthony whose daily driver was a Lamborghini Countach 5000 S.
Anthony’s father bought the Countach back in 1987 when it was brand new – it came with wide fenders and US bumpers, which were later swapped out for European bumpers.
At the time it was purchased, it cost around $136,000 with options.

Of the 32,932 miles driven on the car, most of them were racked up when his dad owned the car on road trips to Toronto and Montreal.
The car also served as Anthony’s ride to his prom.
Over the years, Anthony has had many offers to buy the Countach, but he’s turned them down.
His plan is to keep driving the car for as long as it’s drivable.

To the car’s credit, it’s been reliable over the years thanks partly to routine oil changes and regular engine work.
Even the air conditioning is still in working condition.
Taking a ride in this family car
For TJ, this would be his first time riding inside a Countach.
“Wow, it is tight in here, and I’m not even that tall!” TJ exclaimed.

Height restrictions aside, he was left stunned by the car’s performance, as Anthony floored it.
“This is a very visceral experience,” he commented.
“I thought the Diablo was…but this is another level.”
Sure, modern cars have their perks, but sometimes you can’t beat a classic.
