This Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato was put through its paces in Mexico, battling sticky mud and incredibly deep water.
The Sterrato literally translates to ‘Dirt Road’ in Italian, so it was designed for off-roading, a bit of a departure from your typical track-devoted Lamborghini.
The Sterrato was given increased ground clearance, providing more room for navigating rough terrain, and is equipped with reinforced body protection and cladding to withstand rocks, gravel, debris, and dust.
This driver in Mexico really tested the supercar’s off-roading capabilities and certainly proved why it’s no standard road vehicle.

Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato put to the test
When looking for a serious off-roader, you rarely look to supercars for a reliable multi-terrain vehicle, but this Lambo proves that it shouldn’t be overlooked.
The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato really lives up to its name, because not only does it have a powerful 5.2-litre V10 engine, it also has a super sturdy exterior.
With reinforced body protection and composite cladding to shield against gravel, rocks, and debris, the Huracán Sterrato has increased ground clearance over the original Huracán to make it the ultimate off-roader.
With all-terrain tires and all-wheel drive, this Mexican driver decided to test to see just how much the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato could handle.
How did it handle the deep waters and sticky mud?
In the video, you can see that the driver pulled no punches.
It went charging through deep pits of water and wet sticky mud.
The video even showed it fully submerged in water and mud.
While it’s no Jeep, the Huracán Sterrato is clearly an impressive off-roader.
But if this video convinced you to get one, you’re unfortunately out of luck because all units were sold out at the manufacturing stage.
If you’re really serious about it, you might get lucky in the second-hand market.
