Linus Tech Tips showed Jimmy Fallon some bizarre technology that left the late-night host stunned.

Linus Sebastian, known online as Linus Tech Tips, was a guest of The Tonight Show.

He’d come to the show with a backpack filled with technical wonders.

Some of them are cool, and some of them are just downright bizarre.

The technology that Linus Tech Tips brought on the show left Jimmy Fallon stunned

Fallon and comedian Marcello Hernández, who had previously been interviewed by Fallon, had a front-row seat to Linus’ show and tell.

In a backpack, the Canadian YouTuber had sourced some cool pieces of tech from CES – the annual tech trade show.

“If I had to pick a theme of the show, it would have been half-baked AI in half-baked humanoid robots,” Linus told his interviewer.

“They do everything you guys, they’re mixing drinks, they’re folding your laundry…they don’t do any of it well.

“The bad news is, they’re definitely coming for our jobs, but the good news is…probably none of us are going to be alive to see it.”

That doesn’t jibe with what Bill Gates has said previously, as he believed AI would force humans into a two-day work week within the next decade.

At any rate, Linus had brought some electronic goodies in his backpack to show Fallon and Hernández.

First up was the Lollipop Star, billed as a candy treat that you can listen to.

A treat for the mouth and the ears, it would seem.

Fallon and Hernández placed the lollipops in their mouths and bit down, releasing the sound of music in their ears.

Not that anyone else could hear it, so they did look strange, murmuring along to music.

“It uses bone conduction technology,” Linus said.

“You put a minor vibration up against your bones, and it takes it straight to the inner ear.”

What else did Linus have in his backpack?

Next up were the TDM Neo headphones, which doubled as Bluetooth speakers.

We speak for everyone when we say – where have these been all lives and what took them so long to make it?!

“That’s legendary! That’s fantastic!” Fallon gushed.

Next up was a laptop that had a screen that could expand from 16 inches to 21.5 inches.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t playing ball when Linus tried to demonstrate this, leading to Fallon and Hernández making a ton of jokes at its expense.

To finish off the show was the gadget Linus billed as the ‘best one’.

“We all love robot vacuums […] but they have one fundamental problem – they’re boring!” Linus said as he pulled the next gadget out from behind the sofa.

“Not this one! This is the world’s first dancing robot vacuum!”

But that wasn’t its main sell.

This thing could hop, meaning stairs were no longer the great enemy of the robot vacuum.

Technology is always changing, and this segment proved there’s some awesome stuff to look forward to.

Linus Tech Tips was more than a worthy guest to come on to talk Fallon through these innovations, as he’s practically a certified tech enthusiast.

This is the guy who pushed 2TB of RAM to its absolute limit by opening thousands of Google Chrome tabs – just to see what would happen.

He’s explored a lot of different facets of the tech world on his channel, whether it’s trying out every PlayStation, or using dial-up internet in 2025.
