A Miami man named Herschel Zelcer uncovered a lost Bugatti EB110 supercar in an absolutely gigantic automotive discovery.

This is like finding the ultimate buried treasure of the automotive industry.

Herschel, a man with a deep love for rare supercars, tracked down the missing Bugatti EB110.

It was a car that was once considered unfinished and lost to history. But now, it was time to revive its story.

This particular EB110 had been thought to be a ghost of the past, mostly due to its troubled history, similar to the 1968 Corvette found in Alabama.

At one point, EB110s were unsellable at auctions and valued at just $600,000 to $700,000, which was pretty low for a Bugatti.

But, as time went on, people started realizing how special this car was.

In fact, this supercar was the inspiration for the iconic Veyron and Chiron hypercars, and it had a fascinating backstory.

As for Herschel, he wasn’t new to high-end cars.

He had sold numerous Ferrari F50s and 17 LaFerraris before, so he was a big name in the world of supercars.

So, this discovery of a Bugatti EB110 SS with only 300 kilometers on it was just another feather in his cap.

The car was later sold to a collector

The car’s backstory was tied to Bugatti’s bankruptcy, which stopped many cars from being completed.

Later, the Volkswagen Audi Group bought the company, leading to the creation of today’s Veyron and Chiron.

After confirming the authenticity of the car in Europe with B Engineering, Herschel sold the rediscovered Bugatti EB110 quickly to a lucky collector, along with other high-profile cars like the Porsche 959.
