This man brought his dream Skyline to LA, and it was absolutely perfect.
YouTuber Larry Chen was ecstatic that his Nissan Skyline GT-R had arrived in Los Angeles, having been shipped in from Japan.
Both Larry and his pal David were getting GT-Rs, which arrived in a big crate.
Once the door was opened, they were left stunned at what was sitting inside.

As far as iconic cars go, the Nissan Skyline GT-R is up there.
These beauties have been around for a long while, and they’ve got a lot of pop culture muscle to flex, having appeared in The Fast and the Furious, Need for Speed, and Gran Turismo.
This car is like an automotive Lazarus, having been declared dead and then resurrected not long afterwards.

This is a supercar with a long lineage, and it’s not over yet – Nissan is reportedly working on the R36.
At any rate, the R34 is still a fine supercar in its own right.
Unfortunately, it’s not allowed in the United States.
Not that there aren’t workarounds, as one man discovered when he got his hands on one.
One such workaround being that a car is older than 25 years.
R34s, the fifth generation, started production in January 1999 and wound up in August 2002.

With 11,578 cars produced overall, there’s a sizable number of them that would be north of the 25-year mark.
At any rate, Larry Chen had two R34s shipped into Los Angeles – one for himself and one for his friend David.
Fittingly, his Skyline was a beautiful blue.
David’s was a cool grey.
Larry was ecstatic with his.
“It drove like a new car,” he gushed.

“Felt so tight, didn’t rattle…”
Not that there aren’t any elements that need upgrading – the brakes are something he’s looking to switch up.
“I feel like a set of R35 brakes would look so good,” Larry said.
Larry is also having some friends come in to cover it in Paint Protection Film.
“This will make it so much easier to wash going forward,” he said.
