This guy built a tiny DIY home on wheels made entirely out of trash he found on the streets of Los Angeles.
Considering what everyone is saying about the real estate problem in California, the timing is perfect.
Jokes aside, what this guy built is truly impressive.
But we’re going to have to address the elephant in the room.

The ‘problem’ with this DIY home on wheels
The guy from I Can Do That‘s (aptly named) YouTube channel came up with an interesting idea.
He decided to build a home on wheels, or we could probably call it a camper, using nothing but trash he found abandoned in Los Angeles.
This, in his view, makes more sense than people think.

“If you’ve never been to LA, pretty much every corner has something that someone is getting rid of or trying to throw away,” he explained.
He ended up putting together a collection of abandoned pallets, tables, and mattresses that, with a bit of ingenuity and some lateral thinking, could be conceivably used to build something useful, which is what he did.
The giant elephant in the room is the fact that the campervan is… aesthetically challenged.
The end result probably won’t win any design or architecture awards, but it’s good enough to call it a camper and, more importantly, use it as a camper.
DIY homes are a thing

DIY campervans are a thing, or maybe they’re just enjoying extra popularity because people love sharing this type of content on social media.
Either way, this guy’s DIY camper joins a long list of equally creative and awesome vehicles.
A couple in Germany, for example, turned a freight truck into a campervan.
Plus, there’s an American couple that did something similar with an old school bus.
Meanwhile, another couple, from the UK built their DIY motorhome from scratch.
And then there’s the hero we all deserve and want: the guy who sold everything to live in his Lambo.
Imagine that.
