A YouTuber bought a destroyed $400,000 Bentley Bentayga that had been written off, but feared his budget would explode paying for repairs on the luxury SUV.
The powerful luxury SUV had a hard time, with the front end completely wrecked, and the sides also badly damaged in an accident.
This meant that YouTuber Chris Slix had a lot of work to do if he was going to get the SUV back on the road again.
With spare parts for the car also being expensive, Chris feared his wallet might self-combust as he tried to repair the luxury car!

The Bentley Bentayga had suffered in the accident
The front of the luxury car had taken the brunt of the damage.
It was smashed up all around, with the bumper and headlights ruined.
With parts so expensive, Chris had an idea to save some money.
He would see what common parts from Audi he could buy to repair the SUV, as the Volkswagen Group owns both Bentley and Audi, among several other brands.

Throughout the video, Chris and his team conducted a thorough inspection of the SUV to assess the extent of the damage.
Following this, the team would check out parts numbers to see what they could get from the Audi side.
That would help save a lot of money.
The British SUV needed a lot of work
Removing parts had revealed the extent of the damage to the Bentley.
Radiators were broken, wiring was hanging loose, and the suspension also took a knock.
Thankfully, the engine had survived any major damage bar some belts and a sump.
The interior was also undamaged, and that would save a huge amount of money.
It did look like the suspension was where most of the damage had occurred.
Naturally, the bodywork had also suffered, so all of that up front would need to be replaced.
Chris, however, was very excited by the potential of this repair job.
Googling an Audi suspension arm that the Bentley used, the price was just $67.
That represented a huge saving on a genuine Bentley part.
With savings like that, this Bentley Bentayga may well be repairable on a budget.
