Abandoned semi-trailers are a real gamble – sometimes they’re filled with junk, but other times they hold hidden treasures.

When this man bought an old semi-trailer for $600, he didn’t expect much.

At first, it seemed like a bad deal, filled with random items like shoes, mattresses, tires, and barbeque grills, none of which seemed valuable.

The adventure was uploaded on YouTube by Adventures Made From Scratch, which usually posts exciting content involving cars.

A rare find inside abandoned semi-trailer

As he dug through the mess, he found a few paintings by an artist called Venkins.

Although, the paintings were in good condition, they were worth only a small amount of money.

Then, something wrapped in a quilt raised his hopes, but it turned out to be just a mirror.

The trailer also had plenty of boxes, but none had anything special inside.

There was a huge stack of tires, some old and some new, but nothing special about them.

Then, a suitcase caught his eye, stuffed with papers and photo albums.

Inside it was an envelope with a one-dollar bill from 1935 and some rare coins, including a 1979 $1 coin, and copper pennies from 1944, 1958, and 1945.

The bet was worth it

After some research, he discovered that copper pennies from 1943 are very valuable, but sadly, he didn’t find any from that year.

The real worth of the coins would need an expert’s evaluation.

As he dug further into the suitcase, he uncovered even more coins.

In the end, the coins, the dollar bill, the paintings, and the tires turned out to be worth more than when he spent.

The risk he took with the trailer paid off, and he’s likely to make a decent profit from his surprising find.
