Ferrari is one of the most legendary F1 teams ever, and one lucky creator got to take a stroll around Ferrari’s secret F1 bunker.

The myth of what happens to the race cars once their life on the track is over is one that we all try to solve, but this tour may explain all.

From iconic 2000s cars to newer models, the engineering on display was remarkable.

However, the circumstances under which the cars end their days in the bunker are even more extraordinary.

Ferrari’s secret F1 bunker is home to iconic pieces of racing history

Formula 1 is a serious sport, loved by thousands all over the world, but we bet you don’t know what really happens after the car’s time on the track comes to an end.

Well, creator Driver61 got an exclusive look inside Ferrari’s secret F1 bunker, and what he found will blow your mind.

Every kind of racing car was located within the flashy four wheels, and the cars were all owned by enthusiasts, but housed under the watchful eye of Ferrari specialists.

With F1 cars becoming more and more accessible to buy after running their course on the track, this creator was able to get up close and personal with some Ferrari greats from all eras.

“It smells like a racing car,” he said as one in particular caught his eye.

A 2003 Ferrari F203GA fresh from the Michael Schumacher era took center stage as the traction control, impressive V110 engines, and aerodynamics were explored.

Just before this, a 90s era F1 car was also explored within Ferrari’s secret F1 bunker, as well as a 1975 model, and even though the systems were simple, they were still remarkable and a key aspect of motor racing history.

The development was evident

As time has passed, engineering has advanced at a rapid rate, with Formula 1 cars reflecting this.

By comparing two F1 cars from 2018 and 2021, the changes, although small, can be clearly seen

From bigger wheels to a body that sits differently, the amount of development from season to season is quite remarkable.

The creator’s ultimate piece de resistance, though, stands to be the F204, which, after searching Ferrari’s secret F1 bunker, he couldn’t quite see.

However, as luck would have it, he found the masterpiece in the workshop with Ferrrai engineers working their magic on it.

You have to admit, the building and the business within it are quite remarkable to see. We wonder what cars from last season will ultimately end up sitting and looking pretty here.
