Being able to afford a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce must be a very nice feeling.
But being able to afford both in the same lifetime is ultra-wealthy territory.
Then again, being able to buy a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce in the space of a few months – for two different women – is jaw-dropping.
Well, that’s exactly what happened – in a pretty unbelievable story.

Dallas Buyers’ Club: Man buys Bentley for woman
Our story starts in Dallas, Texas.
A car dealership worker, Barta, posted a viral video.
The man posted the video on TikTok, explaining that he used to work at the Bentley dealership in Dallas.
A woman came into the dealership to ask whether a particular Bentley had the “peanut butter” interior.
“My boyfriend’s going to buy me a car today,” the lady told Barta.
Barta didn’t really believe her, and when she kept asking about the price, he jokingly said he’d knock $5,000 off the asking price if said boyfriend did, indeed, buy a Bentley.

Right before closing time, said boyfriend does, indeed, show up.
At this point, Barta is starting to sweat a bit because, as he makes clear, he didn’t have the authority to offer discounts.
“I’m gonna get in trouble for this,” he laments.
After haggling over the price – including the $5,000 discount – the boyfriend offers to return to the dealership the following morning with a ‘certified check.’
Can I get a footlong with my Bentley, please?
Barta then explains that the boyfriend does not, in fact, show up at the Bentley dealership.
Classic tire kicker, he thinks – and who could blame him?
Then, the girlfriend texts him to say that they’re running behind, but they were hungry and asked Barta if he could get them some sandwiches.
Yes, you read that right.

He obliged, and paid for a Subway order out of his own pocket.
The boyfriend showed up, ate the Subway at his desk, and then handed the salesman a check for the car.
Shockingly, the check actually cleared, and the man then put the car entirely in the his girlfriend’s name.
Oh, and she admitted to Barta that she’d only met this man two days beforehand.
Man caught buying Rolls-Royce for another woman
Yes, this story somehow gets even weirder.
A couple of months came and went, with Barta still working in the dealership.
Until one morning, when he heard the immortal words once again.
“My boyfriend‘s going to buy me a car,” said the woman.
Barta quickly did a double-take to check it wasn’t the same woman – it wasn’t.
And would you believe it?
It was the same man, and this time, he was buying the new woman a Rolls-Royce.

And he was the same payment method, too – a certified check that cleared.
Outrage and upset… at not being one of the women
Perhaps not surprisingly, the reaction to this saga – which, ironically, would not have been out of place in the original Dallas – has been of a different kind.
“May this generosity find me IMMEDIATELY,” one commentor joked.
“What is his type…for research purposes,” another added.
What this story goes to show is pretty simple.
Finding true love might be difficult, but you could end up with a Bentley or a Rolls-Royce as a reward while you’re looking for it.
