A man who accidentally left his car at an airport car park for eight months was left in a panic after seeing how much it had cost him.
The car belonged to Ramin Dja, and he had left his car in the airport’s car park while on a trip.
But the trip ended up taking much longer than expected, and he soon realized his car was stuck at the airport and there was nothing he could do about it.
Unsurprisingly, he had a massive shock when he got back to his Rolls-Royce and saw what it had cost him.

How much the airport car park charged him
Dja had left his car parked at the Frankfurt Airport in Germany before heading overseas.
What was meant to be a standard-length trip for him ended up being eight months long.
So upon getting back to Germany, he was braced for a shock.
The incident that occurred in 2023 was shared on Dja’s TikTok account.
He filmed himself stressing out about the situation and walking over to the parking machine.
When his ticket was redeemed, and the number popped up, it certainly seemed to live up to his worst fears.
He owes the airport €12,967.50, which is roughly $14,000.
That is just for the privilege of parking his car, which turned out to be a Rolls-Royce.

TikTok users weighed in on Dja’s predicament
Incredibly, Dja said he simply forgot his car had been parked at the airport car park.
Naturally, viewers on TikTok were quite surprised by how much it had cost.
“About 1.5k a month, you can rent an apartment for that price,” one said.
Some, though, attempted to offer some advice.
“Click ‘I lost my ticket’, and you’ll pay €15,” said another TikTok user.
Some also said to get a new ticket and just use that to get out.

Equally, upon seeing they had a Rolls-Royce, others suggested that the parking fee wouldn’t be a problem.
A total cost of $14,000 won’t come close to the cost of a luxury car like a Rolls-Royce.
But despite that, you can see why Dja was so stressed out over his eight-month parking charge.
