A smart man decided to do something wild and put a 10,000rpm BMW motorcycle engine into a tiny little Fiat 126, and the result was one word: awesome.

The tiny classic car began as a random Facebook Marketplace find and turned into a full-blown chaos-based project.

The owner got rid of its little two-cylinder engine and dropped in a BMW motorbike engine that can reach a top speed of 10,000rpm.

What he created was a pocket rocket that looked innocent but behaved like the silliest tiny race car.

BMW motorcycle engine transformation

This tiny little Fiat 126 car started life in a very rough shape, with faded yellow paint and strange wheels, but the owner saw potential in it, so he decided to buy it from Facebook Marketplace.

Once he fitted the BMW motorbike engine, the whole car roared to life, which is hilarious considering its diminutive size.

It revved like a motorbike and filled the interior with the kind of noise that you hear at the most intensive drag races.

Instead of keeping a normal shift box, the YouTuber who did the project installed a handmade six-speed sequential gearbox usually built for miniature Italian race cars.

To match the energy, the suspension and brakes were upgraded too.

Fiat 126 build and interior details

The YouTuber decided to replace the flimsy fiberglass wheel arches with strong and powerful aluminum ones, giving it a hilariously aggressive widebody look on the tiny car.

Inside, everything had the same homemade race car vibe with aluminium door cards, a custom dashboard, and a handmade control panel.

A friend even built the digital display from scratch, giving the whole cabin a unique charm.

Out on the road, the Fiat delivered full sensory overload with the sound, the vibrations, and the rapid gear changes, which made it feel far faster than it was.

The end result was wild, ridiculous, but completely awesome.
