Man shares Ford Escape with over 730k miles after people question if it's possible that one could pass 300k

One man shared pictures of his Ford Escape with over 730,000 miles on the odometer after people questioned whether it was possible that one could pass 300,000.

A Facebook user and Ford Escape owner took to a group to show off their vehicle that had 300,000 miles on the clock, to silence the naysayers.

Gábor Pál decided to put the debate to bed with pictures of his Ford Escape SUV on the rollers in the repair shop.

But the real jaw-dropper was the third picture, a snap of the dashboard and the odometer, which finally silenced the haters.

Man shares a Ford Escape with over 730k miles to settle a debate

People love to label things as ‘fake’, but it’s no surprise that people were debating whether a Ford Escape could truly pass more than 300,000 miles on the odometer.

However, after seeing this debate online, a Facebook user and fellow driver of a Ford Escape used pictures of his own car to settle the debate once and for all.

Gábor Pál posted pictures of his own SUV from the repair shop, hoisted up on rollers, but the most interesting picture was the third one from inside the car itself.

Posted with the caption: “I’ll just leave this one here, I saw an escape posted earlier with like 300k and ppl questioned it how…”

It was accompanied by a picture of his SUV’s odometer.

People didn’t think it’s possible that one could pass 300k, let alone this

The SUV was still looking in decent shape for a vehicle that’s clearly lived a hard-working life.

The photo taken from inside is the real jaw-dropper: the odometer reading 730,517 miles, alongside a trip meter showing more than 4,000 miles on its latest stretch.

Most people expect a typical car to last between 150,000 and 250,000 miles before major repairs make it a poor financial decision to keep it on the road.

Crossing 300,000 miles is already rare, but hitting more than 730,000 miles is almost unheard of.

Clearly, Pál looks after his SUV if it’s in the repair shop, looking as good as it does after all of the hard work it’s put in.

Impressive work from Pál and his Ford Escape.
