This guy took a Bugatti Chiron through a McDonald’s drive-thru, and it looked as out of place as you’d expect.

A host over on the carwow YouTube channel took the Chiron through the drive-thru of a French franchise.

A wide car and a narrow lane don’t go well together.

But to the credit of the driver, he handled the Bugatti very well.

Taking a Bugatti Chiron into a McDonald’s drive-thru

Is there any greater test of a car than a McDonald’s drive-thru?

Forget the Nürburgring, it’s the golden arches which really separates the men from the boys.

We’re partly kidding, but it’s no joke to say that cars pulling into the drive-thrus of the iconic fast food chain has been a weirdly newsworthy occurrence.

You may be wondering why.

Millions of cars must pass through the drive-thru every year, with even more Happy Meals changing hands.

But let’s just say, we’ve seen some…noteworthy vehicles pull up to McDonald’s in the past.

You may recall the Lamborghini that showed up to a franchise in Oman.

And that’s nothing compared to the tank which showed up at a UK McDonald’s.

As you’d expect, it had a hard time getting through.

And that’s not forgetting the YouTuber who showed up in a RV made from Elvis’ private jet.

Very on-brand for the King.

By way of comparison, a Bugatti Chiron isn’t quite so outlandish.

But it just doesn’t sit right, does it?

A sizable supercar trying to squeeze its way through a narrow lane just sounds like a recipe for disaster.

But to give the host of Carwow some credit, he does well.

That’s despite him fretting: “I’m so scared, I hope this is worth it.”

Did this car make it through without any scratches?

The drive was akin to a narrow obstacle course, and it was driving the sensor wild.

Making the trip between the order box and the pick-up point was very precarious.

The corners were narrower than a paper straw after it melted in a milkshake.

Would it all be worthwhile for some small fries?

And at the speed he was going, would they even be warm by the time he got to the end?

It was a real nailbiter.

One way to build up an appetite, right?

In the end, he got his small fries and two packets of ketchup for his troubles.

After all that trouble, we’d want a big shake and a McFlurry to ease the stress.

To see the nervewracking drive for yourself, head over to carwow’s YouTube channel.
