A British man decided to take the first-ever driving test in a Lamborghini Urus Performante, and it was far from straightforward.

The YouTuber rolled up to redo his driving exam in a Lamborghini Urus Performante, calling it a perfect mix of looks, performance, and comfort.

He reckoned the practical side would be easy because he can drive, but admitted that the theory test is where things could unravel.

From the first theory question, it was clear it wasn’t going to be a normal day at the test center.

The first driving test ever done in a Lamborghini Urus Performante

This British YouTuber’s video, where he took a driving test in a Lamborghini Urus Performante supercar, kicked off with him treating the whole thing like a stunt challenge, only with an official examiner in the passenger seat.

In the UK, you have to pass your theory test, which is a series of questions and hazard perception tests, before you pass your practical test on the actual road, and Mark McCann took his Lambo Urus Performante to redo it.

He strode into the theory test already convinced his attention span was about to betray him, then spent the next couple of minutes making jokes instead of sensible answers.

Still, he pulled it back just enough to scrape through.

He described it perfectly: good start, bored halfway, then a last-minute surge of effort to get over the line.

With the theory pass secured, he declared the hard part as done and waited for the instructor, as if the bit he was waiting for was about to begin.

The practical test started normally, at least for a moment.

He got the tire tread depth right, read the license plate correctly, and was told to move off.

Then he immediately fumbled the simplest instruction and got corrected, which set the tone for everything that followed.

It was far from straightforward

Within minutes, he was ignoring directions, trying to detour for a sausage roll, and chatting like he was on a road trip instead of an exam.

The examiner was clearly not amused and repeatedly reminded him that they were there to do a test, not grab snacks or take scenic routes.

He was blasé throughout the maneuvers.

His parallel park was scrappy; he clipped the curb, and he even closed his eyes while the car rolled, which are all small, silly mistakes.

Later, he forward-parked with confidence but still managed to give the impression he was doing everything on impulse.

He nailed the emergency stop with a brutally strong stomp on the brakes, then tried to charm the examiner with compliments right before the result.

After a brief fake-out where the examiner claimed a perfect pass, he revealed that Mark failed.

The Lamborghini made it look iconic, but the British driving test itself stayed stubbornly unforgiving as it always has been.
