A pair of American YouTubers from Maryland conducted a drag race with a Tesla Cybertruck EV against the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar.
YouTubers Dobre Cars have created the ultimate battle of electric versus gasoline, to see how the two very different vehicles behave against each other.
Making it even more interesting is the fact that the Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first true hybrid supercar, following on from its teaser with the Sián hypercar.
While a Cybertruck vs Revuelto race doesn’t sound like a fair contest, the results of the drag race paint a very interesting picture.

This particular Tesla Cybertruck was in Cyberbeast form, meaning it has all-wheel drive 845HP, and 864LB-FT of torque.
The Lamborghini Revuelto, meanwhile, has a 6.5-liter hybrid V12 making 1,001HP and 595LB-FT of torque.
So the supercar has more power, but the extra torque, in theory, would help the Tesla launch off the line.
In the race itself, the Cybertruck does get off the line faster than the Lamborghini.
But as the supercar finds its feet, it roars past the electric pickup truck to assert its dominance.
With the Tesla topping out at a certain point and its acceleration slowing down, the Lamborghini just keeps on going.
All that extra horsepower certainly came in handy for the Lamborghini.
The YouTubers did their first race from a standing start, followed by a second with a rolling start.
The result of this race is virtually the same, except without its start advantage, the Revuelto leaves the Cybertruck in its wake.
There is nothing the Tesla Cybertruck can do as the Lamborghini just drives off into the distance.
While it was, in reality, an unfair matchup, it’s interesting to see how the two compare.

The race showed how quickly electric vehicles can accelerate off the line.
It also showed how the torque they have comes into its own as they pull away.
But they reach their top speed faster, and of course, the Italian supercar has more power.
Electric versus gasoline is a debate that is likely to go on for some time.
This, however, is a lighthearted way to see how different the two types of propulsion can be.
Even if it was a bit one-sided!
