Maserati has came up with a new way of designing cars.

They call it the ‘Fuoriserie Essentials’, a collection of cars co-designed by high-profile celebs and ‘friends of the Trident’.

The first two cars were curated by Inter Miami owner David Beckham, and they ooze class.

Dubbed Fuoriserie DB Essentials, the ‘David Beckham spec’ is available on request for the Grecale SUV and the MC20 supercar.

They both look awesome.

The MC20 is finished in a deep, dark shade of blue called ‘Night Interaction’, inspired by the 1967 Ghibli coupé, paired with tan leather upholstery for the interior.

And the three-spoke black wheels are gorgeous, too.

As for the Grecale, Beckham used the 1986 Quattroporte Royale as a muse and opted for ‘Verde Royale’ green paint for the body and brown leather upholstery for the cabin.

You also get a metal plate between the seats, which is a nice, subtle touch.

Maserati Grecale – Pricing and specs

Named after a strong Mediterranean wind, the Grecale is Maserati’s newest and smallest SUV.

As things stand, you can opt for a 300-hp 2.0-liter hybrid unit, or the uber-powerful 530-hp 3.0-liter V6 dubbed ‘Trofeo’.

An electric version is scheduled for 2024.

Pricing starts at $65,000 for the hybrid model, and around $100,000 for the V6 Trofeo.

Maserati MC20 – Pricing, performance, specs

Designed as the spiritual successor to the legendary MC12, the Maserati MC20 is a bona fide supercar.

The 3.0-liter V6 engine is in the middle, and it puts out 621 hp, giving it a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of just 2.8 seconds.

In fact, Maserati are so proud of this engine they actually gave it a name: Nettuno.

Pricing starts at $217,000.

About David Beckham

Beckham’s professional career began at Manchester United, where he spent eleven years before joining Real Madrid in the Spanish league.

He represented England 115 times, appearing at three FIFA World Cups.

Beckham has always been a highly bankable star both on and off the pitch.

A couple of years ago, he joined Maserati as a brand ambassador.

In 2014, Beckham also bought MLS soccer team Inter Miami for just $25 million.

The club is currently valued at around $600 million, and the value will certainly skyrocket once the Lionel Messi deal is finalized.

The 36-year-old star, who recently won the World Cup with Argentina, has announced his intention to join the club after leaving PSG.
