This Massachusetts driver spotted an incredibly rare Lincoln Blackwood cruising on the highway.
This luxury pickup truck is seldom seen, but it sure makes an impression when it shows up.
Produced between 2000 and 2002, only 3,383 Blackwoods were ever rolled out.
This made it both the rarest and shortest-produced Lincoln model line – so what a treat for this Massachusetts driver to have seen one.

The Lincoln Blackwood is spotted out on the roads
Reddit user Will took to the aptly named ‘Spotted’ forum to share his sighting of a rare Lincoln Blackwood cruising along a Massachusetts highway.
People in the comments readily shared in his excitement.
“One of my favorite details is the black wood grain that wraps around the bed. Idk if it’s paint or actually wood tbh. But you can only see it up close, and it’s pretty dope,” one user gushed.

“My best friend’s mom had one of these when we were teenagers. It was a slick ride,” another said.
One person claimed to work for Ford/Lincoln and not be aware of its existence, which is quite remarkable.
However, some other people disputed the idea that it was even that rare, suggesting that a figure just north of 3,000 units was nothing to write home about.

There are certainly rarer cars out there, but that doesn’t diminish how cool it is to see a Blackwood in the wild.
Other rare cars that we love to see
When you see a rare car out on the roads, it’s worth sharing.
After all, who knows when you – or the internet at large – will get to see one again?
That’s certainly the attitude that one Redditor took when he saw this McLaren P1 heading down Sunset Boulevard.

And if it gets put through a durability test like this 1916 Ford Model T, then you need to see them while you can.
In fact, some cars are so rare that the chances of seeing them in real life are basically nil.
Which is a shame because they look really cool.
They’re probably sitting in someone’s private collection somewhere, in which case, we can only say those owners are very, very lucky.
