Mate Rimac is being called the ‘coolest CEO ever’ after what he did when a car guy asked him for a ride.
The Rimac Group CEO was out for an evening drive when some car enthusiasts pulled up beside him.
One asked to go for a spin in his car, and he happily obliged.
This has led to the internet hailing Rimac as the ‘coolest billionaire’.

Mate Rimac – the ‘coolest CEO’ ever?
In a clip shared to Instagram by Karlo.Media, Mate Rimac was shown driving down a street at night in what appears to be a Bugatti Chiron Sport.
Not that he’s biased when it comes to his cars – he has a whole range of brands sitting in his personal garage.
Karlo and his friends asked Rimac for the opportunity to take a ride in his car.

Now, you’d imagine that this question would be a total non-starter.
After all, how would you react if a stranger asked to pop themselves into the passenger seat of your car?
But Rimac happily obliged and took the car lover along for a ride, leaving him as happy as a kid in a candy shop.
Karlo.Media was evidently grateful, writing in the video’s caption:
“Thank you, Mate Rimac, for making our day!”

People in the comments section heartily concurred with this message.
“Mate is certainly the best CEO out there,” one fan gushed.
“Mate Rimac and Christian Koenigsegg are really in it for the culture and not for the money!” another wrote.
“Mate is probably the coolest billionaire I’ve ever seen,” a third concurred.
“Coolest CEO of all time, there is nobody else that comes closer,” one viewer declared.
High praise indeed.

All in a day’s work for the founder of the Rimac Group
Mate Rimac has made headlines a lot recently, particularly for pursuing his goal of full ownership over Bugatti.
And it won’t come cheap either, as he’s willing to pay Porsche $1.2 billion for it.
Not that he won’t have a lot to celebrate even if the deal doesn’t go through.
Just this past summer, the Rimac Nevera R broke every acceleration record there was to break.
