You might know that F1 superstar Max Verstappen has a new $42 million private jet which is totally the height of luxury, but it’s just proved its worth in the most important way.
His spectacular 2022 Dassault Falcon 8X is seen as the top choice for flying business class, but many speculated that he was traveling to see his partner Kelly Piquet because she’d given birth to the couple’s first baby.
There’s been no official announcement, but we know that Piquet is due to give birth any time soon. But Verstappen dropped everything to hop on his plane from Monaco to Miami is fueling wild rumors.
He may have a need for speed when he’s dominating the race track, but he also has an even more pressing need for speed in the sky so that he could be there for the safe delivery of his first child… And the Miami Grand Prix.

His $42 million private jet has proved its worth
Back in February this year, F1 star driver Max Verstappen took delivery of a new $42 million private jet, a classy looking 2022 Dassault Falcon 8X plane which strives to ‘make business a pleasure.’
The Dassault Falcon 8X has enough space for 16 passengers and a fully customizable cabin.
You can also choose between a variety of different types of seating, like club seating, pull-out-bed divans, conference suites, and even an en-suite bathroom.

We don’t actually know how Verstappen’s cabin is configured. But we do know that it will look classy and sophisticated, with plenty of space to sit.
He’s really made the most of it, too, as it seems that he used it recently to jet off to see his partner and their new baby, who’s rumoured to have made it Earthside.

Max Verstappen might be a new dad
Ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing announced that the F1 star would not be attending media day in the Florida city. He would be on baby-watch with his partner Kelly Piquet, instead.
It seemed that the baby could come any day. But despite the lack of an official announcement, Verstappen’s plane was spotted leaving Monaco from the closest airport in Nice, and heading to Miami.
This plane journey sparked rumours that the couple’s first baby had, in fact, been born and that the F1 driver was traveling to Miami to race in the Miami Grand Prix after meeting his new son or daughter.

The internet is practically ablaze with rumors about Verstappen and Piquet’s first child. And they’re all hinging on the fact that Verstappen’s private plane left Monaco for Miami.
If the rumours are true, then Verstappen has been able to see the birth of his first child and make it back to Miami in time for the Grand Prix. And he only missed one day of work.
Which means that the racing legend’s $42 million private jet has just proved its worth in the most important moment of F1 star’s life.
Congratulations to the (alleged) new parents on their (alleged) new bundle of joy!
