A video online shows a McLaren 570S and Lamborghini Aventador SVJ competing in a fierce supercar drag race.

The video, posted on YouTube four years ago by Gumbal, demonstrates the power of the two supercars.

The McLaren also takes part in some other races, including against a BMW M5 E60 and a Porsche 991 GT3.

Both the McLaren and Lamborghini gave it their all in there race, leading to a close finish between the two high performance cars.

The McLaren and Lamborghini race was a close affair

The two supercars line up at the start and quickly get up to speed, and it is clear that it will be a close race.

The Lamborghini and McLaren remained neck and neck down the drag strip.

At the end, it wasn’t quite clear who had won the race.

What made the 570S’s race so impressive is that it is only rear-wheel drive versus the all-wheel drive of the Aventador SVJ.

The launch control system of the British supercar kept it in contention.

In the end, it looked like the Lamborghini just edged ahead.

Sadly, that was the last race in the YouTuber’s video, but the McLaren takes part in other contests.

The British supercar faces off against other performance cars

Earlier in the video, we see the McLaren take on a Porsche 991 Turbo S.

While it could fight the Aventador, it was left trailing in the wake of the Porsche as the German car put the power down.

A very different race saw the McLaren take on a heavily modified Honda Civic.

The British supercar easily won this despite the Civic’s modifications, as it couldn’t put the power down.

A BMW M5 E60 easily fell by the wayside as the McLaren blasted it out of the park.

An Audi S8 was also beaten by the 570S.

Although, interestingly, it held its own despite being a sedan and not a supercar.

The 570S finally took on a Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG and Volkswagen Golf before the Aventador, and it easily beat both of them.

It is very impressive, however, how close it ran the Lamborghini.
