Ever seen an odometer roll over to seven figures while the car’s flat-out? That’s exactly what happened in a Reddit video from user vlewy showing a Mercedes 200D clocking one million kilometers (621,000 miles) while cruising at 180 km/h (112 mph).
The clip’s got fans calling these old W123 and W124 Mercs ‘everlasting’ and ‘over engineered’ – the kind of cars that built the brand’s legacy.
With just 75 horsepower when new, the 200D was never quick but clearly it was built to last.
Proof, if you needed it, that the toughest race isn’t 0-60. It’s 0-1,000,000.
