There’s a lot to say about the Mercedes AVTR, but its steering is a very understated perk.

The cool concept car – designed as a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and the team behind Avatar – looks like something straight out of James Cameron’s sci-fi smash hit.

With bionic scales on the back that light up, it’s hard to believe that what’s inside the car is just as intriguing.

Instead of a standard steering wheel, the Mercedes AVTR has combined the steering wheel and brake into one device.

By placing their hand onto the sensor, the car is able to adapt to the driver’s movements through their heartbeat.

It has to be seen to be believed.
