This man had a big decision to make when he won a Mercedes-Benz E450 AMG in a competition, despite having never driven before in his life.

Christian from BOTB has given out a lot of cars to unexpecting winners.

But this time around, there was a twist.

What happens when you gift a car to a 76-year-old man who has never driven one in his life?

Plenty of people have won cars through BOTB before

BOTB stands for Best of the Best, and that’s most certainly what this British competition platform offers up for winners.

Plenty of people have won great prizes through the company – and cars have been among the hauls in recent years.

One taxi driver scored big time when he won a $180,000 Ferrari with a 20-cent lottery ticket.

Continuing the winning streak for taxi drivers was one man who won a $91,000 Audi RS6 alongside a mansion.

And then there was the nurse who won a McLaren 720S within a month of passing her driving test.

Whenever these big reveals happen, there’s plenty of tears and a whole lot of joy.

But what happens when the winner is someone that doesn’t drive?

Actually, that’s understating it – this is someone who has never driven in his life.

And this is no inexperienced teenager either, we’re talking about a man in his 70s.

BOTB YouTube channel host Christian was about to find out for himself, when he placed a call to Bill.

After entering previous competitions, Bill had secured himself a TV and some cash prizes.

Now that he’d landed himself a Mercedes-Benz E450 AMG, what was he going to do?

Did he take the Mercedes-Benz E450 AMG?

Ultimately, Bill opted for the cash prize, concluding that he would help him out more when it came to rent.

It would admittedly be a rogue choice to learn to drive at 76, but anything’s possible.

“I’m on my own so the money is is going to be more more of a help to me,” Bill told Christian.

“It will help me immensely in the years to come, you know, with paying for the rent and the and the council tax.”
