Mercedes-AMG is one of the world’s premier car offshoots.

The German marque is a world leader in almost every aspect of the vehicle market.

Like almost every other brand, the maker is pivoting to electric production.

And it’s just unveiled its all-electric replacement for the Mercedes-AMG GT sedan.

Most car fans are very familiar with the Mercedes-AMG subdivision.

The subsidiary is responsible for all of Mercedes’ high-performance vehicles.

At the moment, Mercedes-AMG currently produces the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.

First released in 2018, the Coupe has been extremely successful.

The performance variant of the sedan has successfully blended both sport and comfort.

That being said, it has been on the market for over seven years now.

And that means that the luxury sedan has started to age and look slightly dated.

To that end, the marque isn’t resting on its laurels – in fact, a replacement is coming. And unlike these secret prototypes, the new AMG will make it to prodcuction.

Recently released images of the new sedan suggest that fans should be very excited.

The camouflaged prototype is expected to be released as an all-electric offering.

This upcoming replacement is expected to be developed on the all-new AMG.EA platform.

As mentioned, the prototype has been fully camouflaged, so exterior details are unknown.

Unlike the exterior, the head and tail lights are clearly visible, and they are an LED-powered, tri arrow design.

News of the AMG.EA platform is promising – because it brings the promise of newer, lighter electric motors.

This upcoming AMG GT sedan replacement is expected to produce around 500HP from a single motor.

Of course, this is AMG we’re talking about, so expecting a second motor is far from unreasonable.

The end result of this Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door replacement will be extremely interesting.
