Tyler Hoover of Hoovies Garage visited Jay Leno with his Mercedes Gullwing, and Leno thinks he got the deal of the century after driving it.
Hoover recently bought the Mercedes Gullwing for $2 million, which, for one of these legendary German cars, is actually quite a bargain, as they can sell for a lot more.
The car recently had a lot of work done to it so it could be in perfect working order, which, of course, made Hoover happy.
The YouTuber then took the car to Jay Leno and his garage, with the comedian getting a go behind the wheel.

How Tyler Hoover got the Mercedes Gullwing
Hoover said in the video that he traded his Bugatti Veyron in order to get the Mercedes.
Leno, however, believed he got the better end of the deal, due to how much of a classic car the Gullwing is.
Parts and labour on a Veyron are incredibly expensive, even more so than with the Gullwing.
Leno himself has a Gullwing, one that used to be a race car that he bought as an empty shell.

Hoover’s, however, is in the classic showroom silver, a color that is synonymous with the Mercedes.
Having had a look around the car, Hoover invites Leno to take the car out for a quick drive.
What Leno thought of the $2,000,000 Mercedes Gullwing
Just a few seconds into the drive, Leno could tell that this was an excellent car.
The transmission linkage had been replaced, giving some very satisfying gear changes.
Driving it, Leno says to Hoover, he got the deal of the century, and it certainly sounded superb.
The comedian actually said it was an honor to drive such an amazing car.
He even said he wished he’d gotten there first!
As far as classic cars go, the Mercedes 300SL is one of the best in the business.
It’s sleek, stylish, and the Gullwing doors are truly iconic.
Hoover commented in the video about how far ahead of its time the coupe felt to drive.
No matter how many years pass, the 300SL will remain a truly iconic classic car.
