Mercedes Maybach EQS SUV

Mercedes-Maybach is taking electric vehicles to an all-new level of luxury.

Mercedes’ luxury arm just revealed the new EQS SUV, and it’s a 5-star hotel on wheels.

The SUV has Maybach’s signature two-tone paint on the outside, but the beautifully deluxe interior cabin is where this car truly comes to life.

Interior

Because you’re meant to be chauffeured in a Maybach, this car is just as luxurious in the rear as it is in the front, if not more so.

The rear seats get everything you’ll find in the front, including heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

In fact, the heating extends as high as your neck for maximum comfort and warmth.

While the rear seat comes standard in bench format, you can opt for Maybach’s ‘First-Class Rear’ which comes with two incredibly luxe airplane-style seats.

In the center console, you’ll find heated cupholders and a tablet from which you control the dual 11.6-inch infotainment screens in the back.

And speaking of entertainment, this Maybach is fitted with 15 speakers in every corner of the car including inside the seats, giving you a crazy surround-sound experience.

You can also opt for folding tables, a fridge, and silver-plated champagne goblets in the back.

Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV power

While this EV is designed for chauffeur duty, the driver won’t be left wanting.

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS680 SUV can go from 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds.

It will then go on to reach a conservative 130mph.

Remember this car is designed for comfort, not speed.

The electric powertrain has two electric motors that combine to create 649 horsepower.

You should get around 285 miles per charge too.

Pricing and availability

Mercedes hasn’t yet revealed a price for the EQS SUV, but it will likely sit around the USD $200,000 mark.

The luxury SUV is expected to hit showrooms in the fall of 2023.
