His Airness himself, Michael Jordan, is best known for getting airborne on the court – but not even he can dunk over the Atlantic, which is why he purchased a Gulfstream G650ER private jet.
However, despite having just slam-dunked a whopping $70,000,000, he then got creative with its livery.
The PJ features rocket-powered take-off potential that even the Space Jam star would shudder at.
But after receiving the private jet last year, he’s wasted no time in making it stand out from the crowd with an audacious paint job.

Michael Jordan’s new $70M jet typifies his basketball empire
Michael Jordan’s shrewd business mind has seen him transform a basketball legacy into a $4 billion empire.
The celebrity sports mogul has used his fortune to amass some impressive assets, including an $80 million superyacht and a $70 million private jet.
His latest purchase is the afore-mentioned Gulfstream G650ER – one of the last models in the famed fleet.

But he’s far from the only celebrity to own this luxurious private jet, as the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Rory McIlroy cruise to their various elite sporting competitions in the comfort of its business-class leather chairs.
So, how does he stand out from the crowd?
Well, just like how his Air Jordans broke the mainstream trainer market (and multiple NBA laws), he chose an outrageous livery.
Michael Jordan painted private jet with sneaker-inspired livery and Air logos
Delivered in 2024, the Michael Jordan Gulfstream G650ER is painted with an ‘elephant skin’ grey-on-black pattern, inspired by worn leather sneakers.
Sporting the Air Jordan logo on the rear wing in the on-brand red, the private jet is undeniably Jordan.
The paint job reportedly cost half a million dollars to complete, although that’s just a drop in the ocean compared to the value of the jet itself.

MJ has been spotted aboard the gargantuan jet on numerous occasions since taking possession of it, particularly on one journey to Portugal.
The Gulfstream G650ER is the second of his private jets, previously owning the slightly smaller G550, which was also painted with the same pattern, albeit on a white canvas.
