A bizarre Range Rover Limousine that once carried heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson is currently up for sale.
Now, we all know that ‘Iron’ Mike is a bit of an eccentric – he likes a smoke, he likes a joke, and he’s about to step into the ring with Jake Paul – a man 30 years his junior – for a professional boxing match.
But, even during his heyday, he was a wild dude, and his use of this car proves it.
However, the car never actually belonged to him – it was built for someone else – the Sultan of Brunei’s brother Prince Jefri.

The car that you’ll see below is a 1994 Range Rover Classic LSE that has been heavily modified through stretching and heightening to become a limousine.
That’s not even the half of it, either.
The 29th Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah wanted to make something truly special for his brother, and – when money is no object – this is the sort of thing that you end up with.
A Range Rover Limousine fit for royalty
The Sultan contacted Townley Cross Country Vehicle, a coachbuilding company that was beloved by the late Queen Elizabeth II, for the job, as they specialize in stuff like this.
After all, the Sultan knows a thing or two about cars himself, having amassed a huge private collection, including a serious amount of Rolls-Royce cars.
After nine months, the Range Rover Limousine was completed, having been stretched out nearly 102 centimeters and raised by over 20cm.
That’s big enough to accommodate even basketballers like Shaquille O’Neal, who is no stranger to an extravagant motor himself.
The coachbuilders added two extra doors, as well as a tailgate and a sunroof, but the pièce de resistance is the interior.
There’s red leather and ‘90s style to die for – with mahogany features and proper TVs.
Nowadays this stuff might come as standard, but for the time period, this would have been the last word in futuristic luxury.
Anyway, none of this came cheap, but – as we’ve said – money wasn’t really a problem.
Once this car left the Royal Family of Brunei, the history becomes a little murky, however it resurfaced again in Glasgow, Scotland in 2000.
Glasgow Car Company – not a particularly inventive name, admittedly – rented the car out to Tyson before his extremely short fight against Lou Savarese at Hampden Park in the city.
Iron Mike takes a ride
Mike was picked up from the airport and must have enjoyed his journey to the venue in the car, given the features on offer.
According to a report in autoevolution, the former champ ‘loved’ the car, and gave the car company some fantastic publicity in the process.
Now, it’s back up for sale again for an estimated $36,000 – $48,000, and it’s stll roadworthy.
Maybe Iron Mike could buy himself a little present with the money he earns from the Jake Paul fight?
