As the Miami Grand Prix approaches, one private club is getting the full F1 treatment by being able to race their supercars on the same circuit as Lewis Hamilton and co., and on the same day.

Millions of people tune in every week to watch the F1 stars go wheel-to-wheel at exhilarating paces.

But it’s not every day that you get to drive the same tarmac that Max Verstappen will rip to pieces.

Yet one set of supercars and their lucky owners will be doing just that next weekend, as they will share the day with Formula 1 and race in front of thousands of fans.

Private supercar club is getting the true F1 experience during Miami GP weekend

When the Formula 1 circuit comes to America, teams, drivers, and sponsors really pull out the stops to showcase everything great about racing and supercars.

Over the years, we’ve seen teams make special liveries just for the Miami Grand Prix, drivers pull up in primed American muscle special edition cars to Austin, Texas, and most recently, the world went bananas when Las Vegas rolled out the red carpet for F1 again.

With the Miami Grand Prix next up on the circuit, the hype has begun, and its partners are pulling out all of the stops.

Precision Drive Club, launched by Miami Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel, and GP promoters South Florida Motorsports are now giving a handful of millionaires the chance to get track experience during the weekend.

The esteemed club, limited to just 100 members, has partnered with Formula 1 to head out on a shortened circuit of the Miami International Autodrome (MIA) to perform demonstration laps in front of the live crowds.

First launched in November 2024, the private club has allowed its members to have access to the MIA circuit, but never in front of thousands of fans, and never as a curtain raiser for what will be a massive weekend of F1 action.

The drivers will also be coached by professional racers on the simulators beforehand.

Precision Club also has a paddock building, where members can watch the action unfold in extreme luxury.

There’s certainly no lack of supercars in Miami to choose from either, as Vice City became a reality last year when over $50m worth of cars lined the streets for the Rally2Race event.

Miami Grand Prix is heating up to be a spectacle for the ages

The Miami Grand Prix is already sitting on a knife-edge, as teams in each paddock are desperate for success.

Ferrari needs to go big or go home to get Lewis Hamilton on the board, while McLaren could get a huge foothold on the Constructors’ Championship if its two drivers can avoid pushing each other too far.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen could also ruin the party for everyone and continue his own celebrations, just days after the birth of his first child.
