Here’s why this home robot could be the most advanced yet
Thanks to the rapid speed at which technology is developing at, recently robot creations have been on the rise, but now this may be the most advanced one that we’ve ever seen.
Enter Yogi, developed by Cartwheel Robotics.

Unlike other robots, this one is tailored for use at home and is more human-like than ever before.
“Cartwheel Robotics is developing humanoids designed for genuine human connection.
“By emphasizing trust, functionality, and usability, they’re helping advance the field from mechanical experimentation toward practical human interaction,” Humanoid Global CEO, Shahab Samimi said.
The humanoid really is unlike anything else, with the company using special ‘medical grade silicone’ to ensure the outside of the home robot boasts extra levels of comfort and safety.
But, what actually is Yogi?
Well, according to the manufacturer itself, Yogi is an ’embodied AI platform designed to move naturally, respond intuitively, and bring a lifelike, approachable presence to everyday environments’.

In fact, Cartwheel Robotics CEO Scott LaValley even explained that Yogi is not just a companion, but also a ‘capable assistant for light tasks in homes and workplaces, designed to remain intuitive, approachable, and reliable.’
So, it seems it truly is the real deal.
But, that’s not all that the company is aiming for, either, as it is also set to investigate the use of the creation in the healthcare sector, too.
Other robots have been propelled into action, such as this humanoid creation that is able to do household chores. Plus, there’s even a humanoid robot soccer league.
Sit tight, as Yogi has been targeted to debut at the Humanoid Summit in December, as it has ‘initiated a Seed financing round’.
Who knows, you could have a robot best friend sooner than you think.
