The most powerful John Deere tractor of all time is the 9RX 830: a $2.1 million behemoth that comes with a 913 horsepower engine.
Farming is serious business, and serious business requires a serious vehicle.
And that’s where the John Deere RX 830 fits in.
The super-sized tractor can be fully field weighted up to 84,000lb ( 38,102kg) and makes short work of hard work out on the field.

The John Deere RX 830 is a beast of a machine
Unlike sports cars, motorbikes, and even high-end luxury motorhomes, there’s not much glamor attached to tractors.
But where would we be without them?
A decent tractor can be a make-or-break purchase for field workers and farmers – and John Deere has earned a solid reputation over the years for providing reliable, heavy-duty agricultural machinery and equipment.

In February last year, John Deere announced its HP 9RX series of articulated four-track tractors, which went into production for the model year 2025.
The series includes this 9RX 830 – the largest tractor John Deere has ever produced.
The 9RX 830 is powered by an 18-liter 18X engine with dual turbochargers and air-to-air aftercooling.
Its engine is rated at 830 horsepower, but can be boosted up to 913HP when the vehicle hits tough conditions.
The tractor has a steep price tag
The guys from the Big Tractor Power YouTube channel recently took the RX 830 out into a field in Western Kentucky and wasted no time in matching it up with a 45-ft wide John Deere high-performance disc and setting to work.
The resulting video, which was shared on YouTube, is almost hypnotic to watch as the bumper-sized vehicle makes its way through the field.
Of course, as you might have guessed, rigs like this don’t come cheap – this one has a starting price tag of $1,226,908.
Its hefty price point puts it in the same sort of price range as a Porsche 918 Spyder or a Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli, but could either of those vehicles turn over a field ahead of harvesting?
