Rolls-Royce has taken the covers off its spectacular Spectre Black Badge, proclaiming it the most powerful car that the company has ever built.
The Black Badge moniker has been used on Rolls-Royce cars since 2016, denoting the higher-performance versions of its various cars.
The Spectre, unveiled in 2024, was the company’s first fully electric car, but the Black Badge version is billed as a more aggressive iteration.
It also marks the first time Rolls-Royce has ever used the Black Badge name on an electric car.

The Spectre Black Badge produces over 600HP
Even without the 6.75-liter V12 under the hood, the Spectre Black Badge still packs in bundles of power.
Its electric powertrain makes a total of 659HP and 792lb-ft of torque.
In total, that means there is an extra 82HP and 128lb-ft of torque compared to the original car.
The new Infinity Mode offers the full extra boost, while the Spectre Black Badge makes 577HP as standard.
The company says that the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine inspires the extra performance from Infinity Mode.
The Merlin was the engine built by the company’s aviation division that powered aircraft such as the Supermarine Spitfire, Avro Lancaster, De Havilland Mosquito, and Hawker Hurricane in World War II.
Spirited Mode boosts the torque of the Rolls-Royce
Another new mode with the Black Badge model is Spirited Mode.
This is what gives the Rolls-Royce its full amount of torque, which is standard set to 660LB-FT.
The Mode is a launch control system, which should punch the Spectre off the line much quicker than the standard Spectre and the Black Badge in standard mode.
Rolls-Royce has also tweaked the mechanical setup of the luxury saloon.

New dampers are also on the Spectre Black Badge.
These should reduce the effects of the 3.0-tonne EV quatting during acceleration, as well as when it dives under harsh braking.
Adding to the grandeur of the new model is the exclusive new color, ‘Vapour Violet’.
Rolls-Royce says this is inspired by the ‘neon ambiance of the 1980s and 1990s club culture.’
For an extra level of style, you can even have a white hood paired with the wild Violet, making this special car even more remarkable.
