When this man rocked up to a car meet in his motorized living room couch, he ended up leaving one Porsche owner furious.
YouTuber Dalton Thompson and his two-seater couch mounted to an electric skateboard proved to be a hit at a local car show.
What’s not to love about a sofa on wheels?
Well, according to this Porsche owner, a lot.
We love seeing weird road creations
Variety is the spice of life, and never has that been more true than with regards to road vehicles.
As nice as supercars are, we all like to see something unusual driving down the road.
Usually, that might come in the form of an ultra-rare car like this 100 foot limousine.

But then you have things that are truly out of this world.
When people get to let their creativity flow, all sorts of strange vehicles follow.
There was the Idaho man who turned his Corvette bed into a working car race.
He wasn’t the only one to have this bright idea, as a Chinese man also mobilized his bed – although he was more interested in prolonging his sleep than hitting high speeds.

And how could we forget the man who took Elvis Presley’s former private jet and transformed it into a RV?
For the most part, these creative endeavors are applauded.
But not everybody is on board – as one YouTuber found out for himslef.
This YouTuber took his motorized living room couch to a car meet
Thompson was taking his motorized couch to a local car show, hoping to secure a prize.
The couch – which he’d made after getting sick of waiting for food deliveries – had been sitting stagnant in his garage for a while now.
So what better way to bring it back than by storming to victory at a car show?

It’s fair to say that Thompson and his couch looked like a fish out of water at the show.
“Still cooler than a Prius,” one attendee joked.
So far, it looked like people were taking the couch as it was intended – a bit of fun.
Unfortunately, the couch didn’t secure any wins after voting was done.

Thompson and his team decided to try their luck at a second car show, where they parked their couch in between a Porsche and a BMW M4.
This is where trouble started to brew.
One Porsche owner was unhappy with what was going on
Clearly quite vexed by his neighbor at the show, the Porsche owner approached Thompson to blow off some steam.
“Get it the f**k away from my car,” he fumed at Thompson.

“Get that f***ing piece of s**t out of here.”
Clearly, he was not a fan of the motorized sofa.
He continued his rant, blasting it as ‘not a real car’.
“Brother, it’s a driving couch. If you wanted it away so bad, you can move yours!” Thompson shot back.
“I was definitely surprised by [his reaction],” Thompson told Supercar Blondie.
“Out of all the people we’ve encountered with the driving couch, I never thought anyone would ever get that mad about it.
“Thinking about it more, I feel like some older people can envy the youth, and I believe that usually stems from some kind of insecurity of their own. It reminds me of the quote, ‘Hate only comes from below’.”
Who knew tensions could run so high at a local car show?
