When MrBeast rolled up to race IShowSpeed, he didn’t bring a sports car, a Tesla, or even a scooter; he brought an electric mini car.
The YouTube giant used an unusual choice of vehicle, which looked more like a child’s toy than a serious racing machine.
At first, Speed couldn’t believe the challenge was real.
But when MrBeast insisted, the two lined up for what became one of the most bizarre showdowns on the internet.

IShowSpeed wasn’t impressed by the electric mini car
It didn’t start smoothly for MrBeast, who must have spent all his money on his other endeavours.
Before the race even began, the YouTube star had to call in some technical support just to get the tiny EV moving.

Once sorted, the flag dropped, and almost immediately, the car betrayed him.
Unlike normal EVs, which are famous for blistering acceleration, this mini machine crept off the line at such a sad pace that IShowSpeed looked insulted and simply began jogging alongside him.

But things quickly heated up.
The toy car, against all odds, started building momentum and reached a surprising 25 mph.
Suddenly, Speed had to actually sprint to keep ahead.
MrBeast, meanwhile, began to believe in his little car’s underdog potential.
At one point, he even declared, “This is actually close!”
The tides turned against MrBeast
Of course, the universe doesn’t like hubris.
Just as MrBeast hyped himself up, he lost control of the car, veering off his lane in a chaotic wobble.

That moment was all he needed to pull away and snatch victory, proving that you don’t simply race IShowSpeed and come out on top.
MrBeast was left wide-eyed, stunned that his quirky EV hadn’t carried him to glory.

In disbelief, he admitted he had no idea humans could run that fast, considering his car was clocking 25 mph.
To its credit, even Speed admitted the race was closer than expected.
But naturally, he didn’t waste the opportunity to rub it in, taunting MrBeast by asking what other tricks he had ready for a rematch.
If MrBeast brought this Chinese EV that impressed IShowSpeed himself in his next challenge, he will probably win easily.
In fact, he can even consider bringing along the cheetah he used to race a Formula E car, if he really wants to ensure his victory.
