A YouTuber who specializes in classic vehicles discovered a large collection of muscle cars stashed away in a Michigan warehouse.
The collection spans two floors and includes cars that are almost beyond repair, as well as others in good condition.
It’s like a graveyard, but one where cars ‘died’ recently.

Ryan Brut, the host of YouTube’s Auto Archaeologist, caught up with a friend who spent around two decades putting together a large collection of muscle cars.
The collection is housed inside a two-story warehouse, and it includes some real gems.
What’s in the collection?

The first car he added to his collection is a 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A.
This is a rare car because Dodge built it as a homologation vehicle for the Trans Am series (hence the name).
In case you’re wondering, homologation vehicles are built to allow the car to be scrutinized officially, proving that safety or technical standards are met, or – in the case of race cars – that the vehicle complies with the standards and regulations of that particular race series or body.
But, we digress – it’s a rare car, and that’s enough for now.
In fact – if fully restored – this car could easily go for six figures.

After that first toe in the water, the collector kept adding cars, mainly from the 1970s.
He has a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, one of only around 2,500 units, and he even has a 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Six-Barrel.
Plymouth only built 1,815 Road Runners with this particular engine, and only 651 were two-door hardtop models.
While most of these cars are missing parts and need work, he does own a couple that work, and he drives them quite frequently.
The world’s largest collection of muscle cars

This collection is impressive, but it is nowhere near as impressive as the largest collection of muscle cars in the world.
The 300-vehicle Tiriac collection, owned by a guy who has so many cars he once forgot he also owned a Ferrari F40, includes a large number of Cadillacs, Mustangs and Chevrolets.
But that’s probably only good enough for the second spot on the list because this title belongs to Mark Pieloch, a discreet billionaire who owns the world’s largest collection of muscle cars.
There’s definitely life in the old American classic muscle car yet.
