A group of NASCAR drivers turned a Charlotte snowstorm into an impromptu winter truck party after heavy snowfall delayed their weekend plans.
Instead of turning laps at Bowman Gray Stadium, they were spinning tires in their driveways.
A massive storm dumped around 10 inches of snow across the region, making travel between Charlotte and Winston-Salem a risky proposition.
With The Cook Out Clash postponed again, these drivers weren’t about to be bogged down by boredom.

These NASCAR drivers weren’t going to stay still
Chase Briscoe kicked things off in style.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver posted a video of himself doing snowy donuts in his Toyota Tacoma TRD.
He even joked that he was supposed to be doing circles in his No. 19 Toyota Camry at Bowman Gray instead.

Fans were quick to approve of the substitute motorsport.
Over at RFK Racing, the truck talk continued.
Ryan Preece admitted the summer tires on his Ford F-150 were not exactly snow-ready, which did not stop him from joining the fun online.
Teammate Chris Buescher chimed in too, poking fun at his own decision not to own a lifted truck.
When NASCAR drivers start critiquing ride height, you know racing withdrawal is setting in.
Spire Motorsports driver Carson Hocevar offered the most on-brand solution.
Known for his collection of street-legal former race vehicles, Hocevar suggested on X that everyone should just race their street trucks in the snow instead of waiting out the storm.
Honestly, that sounds like the most chaotic preseason exhibition NASCAR has never officially sanctioned.

The show must go on
Then there was Ryan Blaney, who delivered the most relatable moment of the weekend.
The Team Penske star put beers outside in the snow to chill, forgot about them, and promptly lost them in the white blanket covering his yard.
He has since accepted that the recovery mission might take days, possibly after he gets back from the rescheduled race.
When he does come back for them, at least he’ll be sure that the beers are ice-cold.
While these NASCAR drivers were understandably disappointed about the continued postponement, the Charlotte snowstorm gave fans a different kind of show.
Instead of polished race cars, the public received a reminder that even elite drivers turn into big kids during a snow day.
