It’s the NBA Finals BABBYYYYYY.
While I’m devastated my Miami Heat lost to the Celtics (I’m a Warriors fan now), I’ve pulled it together to round up the coolest watches worn by the likes of Steph Curry to Jayson Tatum.
Let’s start with the Western Conference champions, the Golden State Warriors…
1. Draymond Green
Wakanda forever!
Audemars Piguet and Marvel collaborated to create this limited-edition timepiece (only 250 were made) to pay tribute to Black Panther, played by the late and great Chadwick Boseman.
The Golden State Warriors star was seen sporting the watch during the NBA-Marvel Arena of Heroes broadcast back in May last year.
The sandblasted titanium case takes inspiration from Black Panther’s awesome suit, which is made of Vibranium – a fictional rare metal found only in the superhero’s home country of Wakanda.
The most striking feature of the Royal Oak Concept Black Panther Flying Tourbillon is the hand-painted, white gold T’Challa, with the texture of the suit being carved out by lazer.

Its purple accents are a nod to the heart-shaped herb, which gives the leader of Wakanda enhanced physical strength and abilities to carry out their role as Black Panther.

But Green is not the only one to sport this $162,000 watch in their collection.
The King himself, LeBron James, has been spotted wearing the rare timepiece courtside.
Over the years, Green has built quite a watch collection.
He’s been seen wearing another AP watch, a Royal Oak perpetual calendar in white ceramic, worth $93,900:
And he also has a rose-gold skeleton dial Royal Oak, which was “almost impossible” to get his hands on.
“I thought I could just click on the watch on the website and buy it. And so I clicked, and it’s like, ‘Contact this place. Contact that place’,” Green told GQ.
He’s had a helping hand with expanding his watch collection from his teammate, Steph Curry, who gifted Green and Andre Iguodala engraved Rolexes.
With Dray showing his appreciation exclaiming: “That’s fire!”
2. Steph Curry
No surprises here but my man Steph Curry has the drip to go with his game.
Like Dray, the baby-faced assassin is an AP fan and owns a gold Royal Oak, and even got his hand on an iced-out Dual Time for the Met Gala last year.
He’s not as flashy of a dresser as some of his other superstar counterparts, but his watch collection is still to be envied.
Among his timepieces are the Rolex President Day-Date (from $33,150), the AP Royal Oak Offshore Watch (from $25,000 on the pre-owned market) and the Cartier Santos ($57,000).
3. Klay Thompson
Being a Tissot ambassador, it’s no surprise that Klay Thompson is often seen repping the brand on his wrist.
He revealed two Tissot watches, the Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium and the Tissot Chrono XL, in collection during an interview with GQ Sports back in 2019:
And he even takes his Seastar fishing with him on his down time:
Fresh back from his injury this year and ahead of the Warriors taking on the Celtics, Tissot has even released a Golden State Warriors strap as well as ones for other NBA teams.
But Tissot are not the only watches in his collection.
Thompson was also given the same Rolex as Green and Iguodala, which were apparently $38,000 Submariner Dates.
4. Jayson Tatum
We’re now moving into Celtics territory, and we’ll begin with Jayson Tatum, the Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
He dropped $500,000 on an all-white Richard Mille RM055 Bubba Watson, according to celebrity jeweler Eric Da Jeweler.
It was Tatum’s birthday gift to himself to mark his 24th birthday, TMZ reported.
The tourbillon has a manual winding skeletonized movement with hours, minutes and seconds.
Its mechanical movement is made of grade 5 titanium.
He also has the obligatory Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
5. Jaylen Brown
Alongside his crystals and bling, Celtics guard-forward Jaylen Brown stores his Richard Mille skull tourbillion – as he showed off to GQ Sports.
The RM 052 was a limited edition and is made of grade 5 titanium – with the upper and lower jaws holding a ruby.
Its movement is connected to the case by four bridges in the shape of crossed bones featured on pirate ship flags.
Worth $500,000 retail, the unique-looking watch has also been seen on Post Malone’s wrist.
“This new caliber represents the fullest expression of liberty and nonconformity and as such, very much typifies the philosophy of the brand,” the RM website says.
“Extreme technique, high performance, the highest level of aesthetic and hand-finishing: the RM 052 Skull is true Haute Horlogerie.”
