An ex-Nevada Highway Patrol Chevrolet Camaro police car is currently up for sale in Newbury Park, California, complete with all its pursuit-ready gear.

This 1995 Camaro might be one of the best cop cars we’ve ever seen, and it survived its time in the force in remarkable condition.

The muscle car is immaculate inside and out, with all of its police functions working as they did in the 1990s.

With pursuit Camaros rarely coming up for sale, this is a golden opportunity to own a piece of automotive history.

The 1995 Camaro is in full police specification

The car has what is called the B4C Special Service Package, first made available on the Camaro in 1991.

Chevrolet offered the package on the third-generation Camaro and then the fourth-generation muscle car in 1993.

Many of the extra parts came from either the Z28 Camaro package or from the 1LE option list.

Some of the changes included thicker front and rear sway bars, computer-selected coil springs, larger four-wheel disc brakes, gas-charged De Carbon monotube shock absorbers, and individual oil coolers.

Under the hood is a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine, making 275HP and 325LB-FT of torque.

The Camaro also has the highly desirable six-speed manual transmission.

The Chevrolet served in Nevada with distinction

The car that is up for sale was used by the Nevada Highway Patrol.

It was then sold into private ownership in 2007.

In 2012, the Chevrolet muscle car went through a refurbishment.

This also included an engine and transmission rebuild.

The Camaro still retains many of its original police features.

These include the Federal Signal Jetsonic light bar, wig-wag headlights, and rear window-mounted antennas

Also included are the K55 doppler radar and a Motorola scanner and radio.

These features can often be removed on old cop cars, so it’s excellent to see this one still has them.

The car’s listing at the time of writing had it for sale at $24,250 and bidding was set to close imminently.

Whoever gets their hands on the car will be a lucky owner of one very rare example of the Chevy.
