The new Apple MacBook Pro is no ordinary laptop, as the tech moguls have gone all-in on its seamless AI machines, coating this interactive brain in aluminum and plugging it into a 24-hour battery.

Apple wasted no time in kicking on from the iPhone 17 release and targeting a wave of new hardware just in time for Christmas.

The gargantuan tech company has now revealed its latest computer device, the MacBook Pro will be joined by the iPad Pro and Vision Pro.

But it’s the AI brain of the new Apple MacBook Pro that is grabbing attention as the 14-inch screen could fit into your average Crimbo stocking.

New Apple MacBook Pro is all kinds of AI genius

Decking the halls with Books and holly, Apple announced that the MacBook Pro would follow the iPhone 17 range by releasing on October 22, 2025.

Straight off the bat, the new 14-inch sleek design caught the eye of avid fans.

But its new chip, the M5, is the biggest talking point.

Shrouded in technical jargon, it’s hard to figure out quite what this chip does.

But in layman’s terms, the M5-powered core accelerates the performance by up to 30 percent in terms of graphics, while boasting twice the SSD space and speed.

It also carries a new macOS upgrade that Apple claims works 3.5 times faster than anything else in the range, allowing AI features to work almost instantly.

That targets translations, spotlight search, imagery touch-ups, speech-to-text, and productivity enhancements like Mail reply suggestions.

The new Apple MacBook Pro will also benefit from the enhanced battery tech, capable of lasting for 24 hours’ worth of continuous screen time.

“M5 marks the next big leap in AI for the Mac and delivers a huge boost in graphics performance, accelerating demanding workflows for everyone from students to creatives, developers to business professionals, and more,” said Senior VP of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus.

“With its amazing performance, extraordinary battery life, and unrivaled display, M5 takes the new 14-inch MacBook Pro to another level.”

Apple’s AI game is strong across all devices

Despite losing one of its most renowned AI technicians to Meta in a $200 million move, Apple has been ramping up its AI usage and slipping it into every aspect of its product line.

Whether that be integrating its Intelligence software with ChatGPT 5, or upgrading the sweetheart assistant that is Siri, the company is really pushing that artificial help.

Most notably, products like the earphones are getting a lot of love from AI, as the new AirPods Pro 3 will be able to translate foreign languages in real-time, allowing you to speak to anyone in the world.

Then there’s the Vision Pro, which is set to have a big neurolink push to be able to communicate with the VR headsets without speaking, simply thinking.
