The newly opened British Airways lounge at Dubai International Airport brings luxury to a whole new level, with chic styling, antique-mirrored ceilings, and a ‘Concorde Dining Room’.
For those who enjoy a more premium experience when traveling, the airport lounge is a must.
Airport lounges offer somewhere to relax, unwind, and enjoy a drink or a bite to eat before you jet off on vacation.
And British Airways has just opened up its latest, and incredibly luxurious, lounge.

The British Airways lounge brings luxe to a new level
The newly opened British Airways lounge is situated in Terminal 1 at Dubai International Airport and spans a little under 5,800 square-foot.
The airline says the space combines British style with fretwork patterning and architecture from the United Arab Emirates.

This means, in the bathroom, you’ll find locally sourced geometric tiles, while the seating options were made using British heritage fabrics.
The lounge features grand sweeping arches, patterned metal panelling, fluted marble, and mirrored walls and ceilings.
On the subject of the ceilings, there’s also a ‘look-up’ chandelier in the main dining area, with the BA logo embedded just above it.
The lounge houses a dedicated self-serving dining area, where guests can help themselves to a traditional Arabic breakfast, mezze selection, cakes, and a cheeseboard.
And to wash it down with, there’s a selection of drinks including cocktails, non-alcoholic wine, and tea and coffee.
Customers who are traveling in first class are also welcome to step through what has been dubbed ‘the million-dollar door’ into the Concorde Dining Room.

The exclusive room, which is named after the legendary supersonic plane, offers a variety of seating whether you want to sit at your own table or at the bar.
There’s also an à la carte menu on offer with delicious dishes to choose from, including an Arabic mezze, a Concorde Wagyu burger, and Scottish smoked salmon.
Fancy checking it out for yourself? Here’s how
If all of the above sounds like something you’d like to see for yourself, there are a couple of options available.
The British Airways lounge at Dubai International Airport is open to customers traveling on Club World (business class) or in first class.

It’s also open to British Airways Club members who have silver status or above, as well as oneworld customers who hold sapphire status or higher.
However, the Concord Dining Room is only available for folks traveling in first class.
