A new Tesla Model 3 Performance owner has raved about the car after snagging it at a bargain price with only 19,300 miles on the clock.

In a post on Reddit, the user waxed lyrical about her new ride, complementing its features and performance.

The 2022 Model 3 was not only in good condition, but the price highlighted the growing availability of quality electric vehicles.

The new owner of this Tesla Model 3 Performance had lots to say about it after getting behind the wheel, too.

This Tesla Model 3 Performance was a bargain with benefits

As (almost) everyone now accepts, the future of the planet depends on humans being kinder to the environment.

To do that, we need to burn less fossil fuels like the ones that go into the gas tank of traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) cars.

So, it’s heartening to hear a tale about someone who managed to get a cleaner car at a cheaper price.

It’s even more encouraging to hear them praise it so effusively.

In the r/TeslaModel3 space on Reddit, the user bragged: “Picked up my first Tesla! A clean one-owner with 19,300 miles on it.”

“Snagged it for under $29k!” he added.

It’s fair to say that the online community was impressed.

One commenter said ‘bargain, pays to wait huh. Congrats!’

“Ya… paid 48k for mine in 2023,” another said.

“Thats great deal on the best made Pre-highland model 3,” said a third.

While the proud new Tesla Model 3 Performance owner admitted that they didn’t get the car with permanent full FSD (Full Self Drive), which would have made for – in their own words – ‘a killer deal’, there were other significant benefits to note.

The user explained: “This is the first Tesla I’ve driven, and it’s incredible. Definitely the fastest car I’ve ever had!”

Why we need – and why you might want – electric cars

Electric cars might be better for the environment, but there are other reasons to drive them.

Sure, you don’t get the roar of the engine like you get in a Bugatti, or the smooth ride of a Rolls-Royce, but you can seriously rip up the road.

In fact, some of the fastest cars on the market these days are electric cars such as the Aspark Owl and the frankly astonishing Rimac Nevera.

You see, electric cars can translate your foot-stomping into instant torque, meaning that they can deliver instant feedback – often in the form of imprinting your head into the headrest at great speed.

So, not only do we need electric cars, if you are a true speed demon, you might grow to want one.

As time progresses, hopefully we’ll see more bargains like this, as electric vehicles become more widespread, better, and more readily available to everyone.
