The new Toyota Supra supercar is on the way, with the 2026 GR Supra set for an unveiling at the AFL grand final.
The Australian Football League Grand Final will see the new 2026 supercar feature in post-match celebrations, allowing fans a sneaky glimpse of the new car.
This will put the 2026 GR Supra in front of at least 100,000 people, possibly more, including those who watch on television.
A new Supra is always exciting, and Toyota looks to be aiming big with the latest edition.

The important information on the new Toyota Supra supercar
Naturally, one thing that people will be interested in is the starting price of the new 2026 GR Supra.
According to Toyota’s current website, the supercar will have a starting price of $57,500.
Under the hood of the new car will be a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine.
This will have a 0-60mph time of just 3.9 seconds.
Expect at least 382hp from the engine.
There is also a choice of a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This is one of the final editions of the Supra, along with the A90 Final Edition.
Toyota is waving goodbye to its famous sports car, as it looks to move on with its lineup.
However, not all hope is lost for those who love the 2026 GR Supra supercar.
What’s next for the famous car?
While the car is set to bow out, this is not 100 percent the end of the car.
In Spring 2026, Toyota will bring production to an end, as it says it is cost-effective to give a low-volume car the upgrades needed to meet new global regulations.
The good news for fans of the sports car is that there is set to be a successor.
However, the bad news is that this is not going to be a quick replacement for the outgoing model.

Senior vice president of Product Planning and Strategy for Toyota Motor North America, Cooper Ericksen, has alluded to this in interviews.
“It would be logical that we would have a next-gen Supra. But when and how is still TBD,” he once said.
Fans can rejoice, however, as the gap between this version and the next will not be anywhere near the 20 years we had to endure last time.
