A New York man had his mind blown when he was given a Lincoln MKZ for free after its issues spanned an eye-popping 268 pages of warranty work.

The YouTuber said his Lincoln MKZ became so unreliable that it ended with him being refunded the full purchase price and told to keep the car.

The nightmare ownership story came with a jaw-dropping receipt: 268 pages of warranty claims over just two years.

What started as a dream spec he’d had since he was a teen, complete with a panoramic roof, quickly turned into a massive legal headache.

Lincoln MKZ issues snowballed into a series of unfortunate events

Tim Fabrizio, recalling his experience in a VINwiki Car Stories episode, said he was obsessed with Lincoln’s MKZ car as a teenager and tracked down a model with the perfect panoramic roof he wanted.

It was sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with only 14,000 miles on it, and he believed it had been the dealership owner’s personal car.

But even before the deal felt settled, problems started racking up.

He claims the car arrived with missing items that should have been included, including a second key.

Aesthetic repairs were also allegedly incomplete, and the driver’s massage seat feature did not work properly from the outset.

Within weeks, the MKZ developed shifting issues, and he says the transmission failed around his birthday.

That kicked off an endless loop of dealer visits, towing, loaner cars, and arguments over repairs, and he says the car began riding harshly, dashboard warnings appeared, and service teams repeatedly dismissed the problem.

Then came the moment that made him believe something far worse was going on.

After a long legal fight, he got the car for free

During a ride along with a service manager, the YouTuber said he discovered the dealership had swapped his seats for ones that did not include the snazzy massage function.

Even more brazen, he claimed that staff insisted the car never had massage seats despite the feature still appearing on the infotainment screen for the passenger seat.

Not long after, the body filler began cracking, revealing what he believed was crash damage that had been lied about.

He says the car had been secretly repaired privately and still sold as Certified Pre-Owned.

By then, the warranty history was out of control, and he claims most Lincoln dealers refused to touch the car due to the sheer number of active issues.

Eventually, he requested that every warranty claim be printed off, which totaled an eye-watering 268 pages.

He says Lincoln then stepped in, refunded the full $33,000 purchase price, and told him to keep the car anyway, effectively handing him a free MKZ that needs to be put down.
